      • Lead a 10-person QA team (8 manual, 2 automation engineers), owning career development, compensation reviews and promotions for the whole function.
      • Gave engineering leadership its first weekly view of QA throughput, cycle time and queue aging with a TypeScript CLI on the Jira API, cutting status reporting from 5 hours to 30 minutes a week.
      • Saved the team 8 hours a week by automating recurring QA work in n8n: a Slack bot that creates test cases, Jira tickets and test users (OpenAI-assisted), runs CI pipelines on command and flags tickets missing QA estimates before sprint planning.
      • Reduced reopened tickets by 30% by moving QA earlier in the cycle with Frontend, Backend and Product leads through short Dev + QA refinement huddles.
      • Protected two major launches with compressed test windows by setting risk-based test scopes and writing clear trade-off updates for the VP of Product and engineering leadership.
